New veterinarian likes large animals, housecalls
The Sheridan Headlight, Thursday, October 18, 1979
A HORSE HOUSE CALL- This is how to wrap his leg to help a bowed tendon. Sheridan's newest veterinarian took time to explain to a horse owner how to apply the bandage so she could do it herself without calling a doctor every time. The owner, Margaret Dreher said the horse was an older animal her daughter rides in shows.

Construction of New Small Animal Facility
Delta Equine Center begins the remodel of the old barn area to incorporate a Small animial hospital and large animal surgical suite. In the picture Brad and Craig Findley look around and check out the progress during their daily inspection.
1996
Hurricane Rita makes land fall
Hurricane Rita makes land fall and destroys Delta Equine Centers Facility on Crain Road in Vinton. Dr Larry Findley Sr and Dr Appleton made the decision to come back to the area and just travel around and see if anyone needed help with their animals.
2005
The ReBuild of Delta Equine Center
Hurricane Rita was the catalysts to Dr Larry Findley to move forward with the plans to build the new Delta Equine Center facility located right off Interstate 10 on west street in Vinton, LA.
